To support agriculture activities by protecting legal farm operations from complaints when non-farm related businesses or residents move adjacent to their farms and want to stop operations that are legal but which the new residents find offending.
3Issues
Enforcement can be expensive and time consuming. Does not address the issues associated with having disconnected farming operations such as loss of habitat, impacts on water quality and goods movement.

Sends a clear signal of support to farmers and alerts people who want to move into these rural environments that the community will support and defend agriculture.
